13-Year-Old Christian Girl Reported as Latest wounded of Forced Conversion in Pakistan

10/19/2020 Pakistan (International Christian Concern) – Last week, a 13-year-old Christian young lady was stealing outside of her home in Karachi, Pakistan. After two days, the young lady's folks were educated she had become the most recent survivor of constrained change and constrained marriage.

On October 13, Arzoo Masih was stolen by Ali Azhar, a nearby Muslim man, while she was playing outside of her home in Karachi's St. Anthony's Parish. Arzoo's folks promptly documented a grabbing grumbling with nearby police.

After two days, on October 15, police brought Arzoo's folks to the station where they gave the couple married and change records. These reports asserted Arzoo was 18 and that she had changed over to Islam and wedded Azhar readily.

Addressing the Union of Catholic Asian News (UCAN), Shabbir Shafqat, President of the National Christian Party, censured the snatching, constrained change, and constrained the marriage of Arzoo.

"Constrained renovation has become a significant device for the domination of Christians and different minorities in Pakistan," Shafqat told UCAN. "We should make an assembled remain not in favor of Arzoo's snatching."
